We developed and implemented a Community Public Health Leader Training Program, Risk Management training, and an Allyship Training for practitioners across New York State to help improve their disaster resilience. We contribute to capacity building with rural community-based organizations to leverage their trusted voices to improve health equity. We are also designing a map to support the creation of community-led multi-hazard resilience hubs in collaboration with the Department of Environmental Conservation and the Department of Health.
