Crisis and Risk Communication Training

Public Health Crisis and Risk Communication training with the NYS Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services gives New York State health and emergency response officials new insights into the risk and crisis communication for public health and natural disasters. The two-day training covers the principles of risk and crisis communication, along with hands-on exercises for developing tailored messages for a variety of audiences. The training also covers social media communication and how to combat misinformation.
